Glenn Stanton
Glenn T. Stanton is the director for Family Formation Studies at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs and is directing a major research project on international family formation trends at the Institute of Marriage and Family in Ottawa. He debates and lectures extensively on the issues of gender, sexuality, marriage and parenting at universities and churches around the country. He served the George W. Bush administration for many years as a consultant on increasing fatherhood involvement in the Head Start program.

He is the author of three books and a contributor to nine others, including Why Marriage Matters: Reasons to Believe in Marriage in Postmodern Society (1997), My Crazy, Imperfect Christian Family (NavPress, 2004) and Marriage on Trial: The Case Against Same-Sex Marriage and Parenting (InterVarsity Press, 2004), which was featured on C-SPAN BookTV. He is currently finishing his fourth book, Beyond Pink and Blue: Raising Gender Healthy Kids…And Parents Too (Waterbrook, 2010), which explores how we raise girls and boys to be strong, healthy women and men.

Glenn has been widely quoted as a leading spokesperson on marriage and family issues in major newspapers and magazines such as New York Times, Washington Post, USATODAY, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Salon.com, The Advocate, Washington Blade, and Los Angeles Times. He has published articles in Christianity Today, The American Enterprise, The World & I, Boundless, Family Policy, Current Thoughts and Trends, National Forum and Dr. Laura’s Perspective. Glenn has also made numerous appearances on MSNBC, FOX NEWS, CNN and Dr. Phil.

He and his wife have five endlessly growing and amazing children, and they live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
